Edge Computing
Edge computing is important as it brings computational power and data storage closer to the edge of the network, reducing latency, enhancing real-time processing, and enabling faster insights and decision-making. It works by processing data locally on edge devices or nearby edge servers instead of sending it to a centralized cloud. An example is a self-driving car using edge computing to process real-time sensor data for immediate decision-making.
